The goal of this was to promote the Free Expansion coming to FFXIV. We had a whole brand to re work and revisit and give it a more modern feel.

We created 1 CGI video and 1 Gameplay video not for only A/B Testing but to also add variety for asset fatigue for customers.

All trailers have to be re-versioned so they work across all platforms while also complying with each countries legal rules. Here are 2 examples for 9×16
3D Animated Robe
Robe was made using Cinema 4D and patterns taking from the in game assets of the Samurai. The patterns were only 1k resolution so we had to upscale these using tracing Vectors.
Character Lore
We also created short character background videos for every main character in the expansion to give more detail in the game. Each video has its own music and story to give a quick glimpse of their character.
